Does anybody know how to enable or disable the Auto Run feature on a Windows 98 PC?

We just got in a bunch of Compaq laptops. But when we went to install our software off of CDs, the CD's auto run never kicked in. We had to manually do a "Start-Run-D:setup".

Is there a switch in Windows that enables or disables this feature?
