>>If I open a file on the server using ODBC, how do I get the API handle? I would like to set the API flag FILE_FLAG_WRITE_THROUGH on my files after I open them. Any idea how to do this, or am I going about this the wrong way? Thanks.

>>I don't think you can, since you don't have direct control over the low-level file I/O mechanism via ODBC - the file handle isn't exposed through the ODBC driver AFAIK.

My problem is I am transmiting files from a remote laptop, via a phone line to a VFP database, and I keep getting NT buffer errors. I was hoping to turn of the NT buffering on my files. Any other ideas? Thanks.
