>>>If I open a file on the server using ODBC, how do I get the API handle? I would like to set the API flag FILE_FLAG_WRITE_THROUGH on my files after I open them. Any idea how to do this, or am I going about this the wrong way? Thanks.

I don't think it's an NT buffer issue as much as a network connection timeout issue, and I don't know enough about playing with the remote connection timeout parameters for ODBC to make a concrete recommendation here. Have you considered using FTP or some other mechanism to transferr the files to the remote server system, and then have the remote system access the transmitted files after they've been transferred over the link?
