it sounds like you have a lot of comboboxes in your class. And you say that all the comboboxes are being populated by arrays? Maybe if you used SQL statements instead of arrays, it would speed performance.

I am instantiating classes on the page activate event of each of the pages as needed. The form on which this class resides has a private data session so the tables I'm accessing need to be opened when the form is instantiated. I did get an improvement when we took the tables out of the data environment and manually USED the tables and set the relationships. But that seems all I can squeeze out of VFP.
