Hi Bonnie ---

There is nothing wrong with taking baby steps. One great thing about VFP is that it encourages OOP but doesn't force it down your throat. Start simple: Create a Textbox class and use it as the basis for all your textboxes on a form. Change the class to a specific font, color, et al and see what it does when you run your form. Experiment!

>I don't know, Mark. To be honest, the more I work on VFP and the more I learn OOP, I *still* think I prefer the old way of doing things. Maybe I'll come around to everyone else's way of thinking eventually, but I think it will take a while. I have to understand OOP inside and out and have an instinct for it before I'll finally feel comfortable with it.

>>Old time programmers like us have to stick together! OOP is a pleasant change from the monolithic stuff I used to work on.
