I thought this was a UK problem for VFP developers, apparently not. Most companies over here are looking for 'cheap' staff, and because of the abundance of VB developers, they're cheap and chearful.

Companies don't seem to get the point that it is easy to pick up a language, like VB, and run with it. It is another thing to be able to get the most out of the language and use it effectively.

Therefore, it is an ever decreasing circle, that companies don't pay for VFP staff, so VFP staff turn to VB. Companies who want VFP staff can't get them because VFP staff have turned to VB.

Maybe I'll have to send you my CV and see what is available over the other side of the pond...
