Hiya Rod ----

Hear, hear! I would LOVE to see MS push VFP/SQL Server solutions, as it would make it easier for us developers to do so. I use VFP with SQL Server a lot but, again, it's hard to get buy in from a client when there is so little documentation from MS (case studies!!!) --- no, let me back up, *NO* documentation on what a great combo VFP/SQL is.

Maybe next time you do some visiting with the Fox people, you could plant a bug in their ear.

>Well lets look at these as well. We all know that VB/VBA is a bread and butter language at MSFT. VFP is fourth at best. So what!!!!! As long as this group keeps buying VFP they are going to keep it alive. Wanna make them happy ? Begin using SQL Server with VFP. Ask them to create a VFP/SQL Server bundle. Let them know that you are using SQL Server maybe this will wake them up to saying" "Hey people are really using VFP in client server worlds maybe we should take a look at that market."
