There has been a strong increase of Visual FoxPro marketing recently which has resulted in many new Visual FoxPro jobs, projets, etc.
Visual FoxPro is presently going strong. It is also normal there is more VB programmers because Visual FoxPro is a professional development environment mostly used for large projects. Visual FoxPro is very powerful but can't be learn in a few days as some other environements can where there is less power to learn.
I've seen an increase recently in the available positions section of the Classified. The marketing done by Microsoft has really helped a lot to put Visual FoxPro on top there the place it should be.
