Bill:
I've used your suggestion many times over the last 8 months. However, at times I end up losing work on my HD because I forget to check it out before I make changes. We have 4 programmers working on at least 4 seperate projects at any one time.

When one of us makes a change to a form or class or menu or anything else in a project, we SHOULD BE ABLE to compile or build that "object", put it back into VSS and anyone else SHOULD be able to "get latest" and VFP should not be trying to "update a cursor". We don't always get a project file from VSS. Maybe we should and this problem would go away. I suspect that the .pjx file contains dates of the last time an object was built and that these dates are what trigger an attempt by VFP to "update a cursor".
