I have a cBizObjMaintenanceForm called ReportForm. I must pick a Contract # and a Due Date from two combo boxes (using views) when entering a new record. I want to check to see if the Contract/Date combination already exists and if not, look up the prioor month's reports and carry forward most fields to the new record.

I was manipulating v_Reports (the primary view) but when I click 'Ok' I get a message about another user changing the record, and I cannot save my changes.

How/where would be the best approach to accomplish this?
