I'll second the motion. My only concern is that the organizational meeting be held at DevCon. As one who probably won't make DevCon this year, I'd rather see the group evolve on here on the UT. Once the officers are elected from the UT, then see that group gather (with everyone allowed to attend if they can) at DevCon.
I'd also like to offer a second suggestion that we look to fresh faces for leadership. If we really want to try and present a different face then let's not place the burden on the same folks who are already trying to carry the banner.
. Let's look instead at some of the folks who appear here regularly. I guess my criteria would be -
"Wanted: organized person experienced with developing promotional marterial on a shoe string budget. Must be self-starter and able to work independently."
