Hmmm, UT having trouble this morning...here are a couple half-baked ideas:

There's been only a Pro edition since vfp3. You might try deleting the resource file, maybe it's fouled up somehow...or try selecting the Build App option, maybe it'll create an exe :) But seriously, try building an app, then re-select exe option, maybe it's kind of stuck or something...

Also, the exe build sequence is first app, then exe. I've had an app occur once or twice when there's a network problem, and the build didn't complete, but I don't see that relates to your problem...
