Hey, Bill -- I guess I'm wondering if they've even thought about it much recently. The old "conventional wisdom" was really quite valid until the use of NOFILTER was added, which has become an increasingly important feature...I think the old "rules" need a little re-write for this usage, and I agree, MS Rushmore gurus would be the best people to do this...
