Thanks for your response. I am getting a value of 1 for the getnextmodified for my orderlines table. But when I try to use the getfldstate to see what field changed, I keep getting an error. I tried using the getfldstate(-1) in a messagebox, but I keep getting an error which states 'function argument value, type or count is invalid' regardless of whether I use str(getfldstate(-1)) or just getfldstate(-1) in the messagebox. I selected the orderlines table before the messageboxes. I feel as though I must be doing something incredibly stupid, but I can't seem to figure out what it is.
