Yes Arnon, I do now call the MSIE with VFP when I am manually evaluating web sites before inserting them into a databse.

Can I specify an output file with webbrowser ActiveX?

I need a program that I can run from VFP that will retrieve the text of the main files at URLs. It must establish that the file has actually been transferred so that I can then process it

This so that I can establish that the sites are still existing after some period of time and that no "inappropriate" content has been put in there. I want to parse through the text for known offending strings etc.

thanks
Thankyou - Chris Haynes
