I used the graph control about a year ago, and I had similar problems. If I remember right, there is a version conflict if you develop using MS Graph 5, but distribute a higher version. Also, Igor is correct that your users can only Edit a graph if they have MS Office, but you can still update it OK though code, you just have to get the version conflict fixed.
