I am going to experiment a little with this on a new machine I am building. So far it has no MS Office products installed, and the graph in my app is not updating. I will install Word this afternoon and see what happens.
Ed, regarding the version conflict - if I go to insert an object into a general field in VFP 6, the only available choice is an MS Graph 5.0 object. Now, when I run the setup wizard, the option to include a graphing support component is for MS Graph 8.0. How can I resolve the version difference ?

>I used the graph control about a year ago, and I had similar problems. If I remember right, there is a version conflict if you develop using MS Graph 5, but distribute a higher version. Also, Igor is correct that your users can only Edit a graph if they have MS Office, but you can still update it OK though code, you just have to get the version conflict fixed.
