However, the example shown does not work since when you create a CURSOR from using the SELECT the resulting CURSOR is READ ONLY! I like the idea of putting this into all of my code but I have been having trouble creating the table as a NON READ ONLY CURSOR so I can blank the TAG and TAG2 fields. I tried to CREATE CURSOR and then APPEND into that cursor from the SELECTED CURSRO and can't get that to work either.

USE DBF('TempReport') AGAIN IN 0 ALIAS TempReport2 (or whatever)

I'm just looking over the example in Hacker's, that looks kind of neat.
