John, are you aware of the recent court decision that ordered MS to make J++ compliant with the Sun Java spec? MS is complying but not too happily it seems. Some at MS would like to kick the Java habit and replace it with their own language called COOL (C Object-Oriented Language).

I don't think that will happen but I wouldn't try to predict exactly what will happen. It's still up in the air. Which way it comes down will tell you a lot about which direction to go.
