I know what you want to do, but in a grid it is the dragdrop of the grid that fires and not the control's dragdrop. That means you have to catch the drop in the grid's dragdrop and translate the horizontal and vertical coordinates to find the column and row that the drop actually occured on. Then you can do what you want with the data.
