Mine is 97 SR-1 as well. Glad you got it to work but this still concerns me a little bit. I have an app that automates excel that uses oExcel=createobject("Excel.Application") and this has worked on my machine and on the 2 users I have installed it on so far but, based on what's happened for you, I'm now wary it might fail for a user at some point. Are you using VFP3, 5 or 6? I'm using 6.
