I have posted this before, but hoping for more insight.

I have an app that was converted from 5.0 to 6.0 and there are random grey background textboxes. Sometimes they are grey on init, sometimes after valid, sometime after gotfocus. Have tried setting background and that does not remove the grey. Two textboxes next to each other, with the same properties and one is grey and the other is not. Have also heard that this is a problem with new VFP 6.0, but have not verified that.

Did find one situation where the textboxes were on a shape and after removing the shape, the grey textboxes are now white. Someone else put zorder(1) in the shape init and it also removed the grey textboxes. But now I have no other ideas how I can stop the grey textboxes. No more shapes, but I do have a deep level of containers in my app: toplevelform, pageframes, sometimes more page frames, containers, and then grids.

Anyone have any information on the grey textboxes in VFP 6.0?
