The client is going to upgrade to NT 4.0, so the problem will go away pretty soon.

Thanks for your assistance - we still couldn't get VFP 5.0 to run - even if we installed as Administrator and run as Administrator. Possibly, our previous attempts to install damaged some of the system files - which can only add to the confusion.
