When I insert a new record and update the view everything is working. I see a new record in the table (no surpise). But if I change something in the view in that record again and then update the view the record does not get updated in the base table. Since there is no key field in the view in that record an update does not happen. What would be a solution?

Requery the data or call the KeyID program before you save and REPLACE the value.
