No, I don't automate it from FP, I use the wizard from win95/98 and the address book from Outlook. There are only 4 screens for the wizard, the Outlook address book will import a FP database, and I can create and use cover sheets from Outlook and retain what was sent in the outbox. Additionally, I can set up a fax server through Exchange/Outlook and anyone can use it. Though this may not be the optimal programming method, i.e. a stand alone FP app, it is very reliable. My primary fax users are estimators with a very limited knowledge of computers, but they move right through it with very little problem with the only drawback of one file per fax otherwise it gets a little more complicated. My only suggestion is in the wizard where it asks for subject, enter some descriptive info, we put in the fax number, that way it will carry over into the outbox and to Outlook for a reference. Again, I'm sure there are better programmatic ways to achieve this, I've seen some on the UT, but the cost offset for the company would've prevented this from happening.
