>>I have a TextBox on a form that has a ControlSource and SelectOnEntry is set to True. It works fine if you tab into the TextBox, but if you click in the TextBox, it only selects all text if you click on the existing text. If you click on the blank space to the left of the text, it only selects the blank space and leaves the text unselected. Has anyone seen this and know of a good solution to this? Thanks.

Most of the tim, Craig, I agree that standard windows behavior is the way to go. But this particular behavior, I find very annoying. I should be able to click and type to overwrite a value, not: click, CTRL+A, type. Very seldom does a user want to edit what's in a textbox, most of the time the user wants to overwrite. With editboxes, its a different story. Just a matter of taste I suppose, but I find the modified behavior makes most users happier, especially on a high volume data entry app.
