I was testing how a VFP 6.0 application would react to a power failure while dbf files and the database are open. After testing one dbf file has had some sort of damage that I can't figure out how to correct. When opened shared the table has one more record than when opened exclusive. I have tried packing and reindexing but still have a record count difference of 1. If I browse on the record that shows up when the table is opened shared it displays either as a duplicate record of one just above it or as unprintable characters or as a blank.

Any ideas where to start?

Thanks,
David
