Sometimes its a foxhead sometimes its a square, rarely is it my application's icon. I have checked and rechecked the icon...it does have the 16X16 and 32X32 versions in the ico file.

To make sure VFP updates the icon when changes are made, you need to delete the icon in the project infomation dialog and then add it back again. Have you tried doing that?
