Looked in the WIN.INI. Is "lmpcl5c" the driver? Having trouble with the printer driver for an HP5si. What to go to the HP site and look for updated drivers, but dawned on me that I would not know what they had now. How would I know if the clients have the updated drivers if I can not tell exactly (version, fixes, patches, etc) what they have now.

[PrinterPorts]
Bob=LMPCL5C,\\FL160F04\FL160P04_205FERN_OPTRA_Q1,15,45
Coffee=LMPCL5C,\\FL160F04\FL160P04_205FERN_OPTRA_Q2,15,45

[Devices]
Bob=LMPCL5C,\\FL160F04\FL160P04_205FERN_OPTRA_Q1
Coffee=LMPCL5C,\\FL160F04\FL160P04_205FERN_OPTRA_Q2

>Easiest is to look in the WIN.INI file. I always use SYSEDIT.EXE to view it. It'll show the printer name and driver under Printer Ports, if not the default. If it's the default it'll also show up under Windows/Device.

>Programmatically, you could use the API (GetProfileString() or in foxtools GetProStrg())to find out.
