I wouldn't count on it, Jim. In VFP 3.0, you could add a refresh method to controls that did not have one (labels) and it would fire when you issued a form.refresh(). Many people found this behavior very useful and used it left and right. But on discovery of this "bug", this behavior was removed in VFP 5.
