>Jeez, I have only been working with VFP for 8 months now [and I know something you don't]. Does that mean I can be an MVP too?
>Sorry, but I expect more from the guru community here.

To add to what others have said:

If you've worked in any field of knowledge (including any programming language) for any length of time, you know it's possible for a novice to know a particular tidbit that the guru he's talking to doesn't. You also know that still doesn't make the novice a guru.

Like another said: insulting someone you expect help from is pretty stupid.

Like another said, anyone who offers an answer here, MVP or not, is offering you what guidance they can for nothing more than the satisfaction of helping you. Some satisfaction you're giving. Why bitch about the mote in the guru's eye when there's a beam in yours? Or something like that.

I hope you'll think a little more before you post a stupid cheap shot like that again.

Rich.
P.S.-Mike, having lived 18 years named Dick, I found your shot pretty cheap, too.
