What software (if any) is currently being used to "glue" the Unix box(es) and PCs together, in your environment?

>The file eventually has to be used in the PC world. Not being familar with the UNIX environment or the application I want to get the data from, I thought the easiest way (Ha!) would be to trick the UNIX system into thinking it was sending the report to a printer while in fact it would be a PC reading the info and writing it to a file.:(
