Should have explained better.. The client uses brand A software(UNIX based) and is switching to Brand B(Windows based), and does not want to deal with the vendors of Brand A. As the middleman, I need to get the client's data contents off Brand A to export to Brand B. This needs to be done on a one time basis only, and I figured this way would be the least painful.

I have searched for a utility to do this or a means to communicate with LPT1, but havn't had any luck.
