I am using the generic text only print driver for NT, I have set the printer to print too file, so I can send a file to our client, so they can see what the layout is. The label format I am using is 2 across, and 7 down. When you preview the Label’s all is okay, when you print the label’s to file, and then view the file with modi comm ‘filename’, it is a different story. If the label on the left is 4 lines long, and the one on the right 5 or more, for each empty line on the left label, the right label does not align up correct, it is 1 character further to the right.

I have tried VFP5 and 6, and the result is the same every time, is it a bug in the driver or VFP?

Can anyone else try this to see if they get the same.
