I certainly don't understand what you are asking at this point... but, if you can call your method from the form, and it works, why not do that? If this is something that you want to happend whenever this form comes up, put it in the form Load.

You need a read events in your startup... if you are using Mere Mortals frameowrk, and start the program with DO MAIN, then suspend it and bring up the debugger, it should be sitting on READ EVENTS... The read events is what allows menus and non modal forms to stay around.

You are using DoForm to start your forms, right?
