OLE DB provider for VFP is only of value to the non-VFP apps that need to access VFP data. That would most likely be a requirement to access historical data from some new system. The OLE DB provider would not make VFP Data a logical chice for large scale applications, but it would allow for faster access to existing VFP Data from new systems.
