I find this a rather optimistic point of view taking into account the effort that was necessary to pass from 2.6 to 3.0 and the M$ talk about merging Fox with VB and Access. This could send us back the learning curve within a period of a few years!
Myself I refrain from investing too much time in making applications generic with the hope of reusing things. Overall I
