>Nothing earth-shattering, but I can guarentee you there will be a VFP 7, and they showed off a bunch of new stuff for the IDE that you'll like a great deal; imagine VFP's editor with Intellisense that would make Ken Levy happy, with most of the neat stuff from the CEE tools, and you'll have an idea of what they showed us. The demo wasn't rigged (ie stupid typos gave error messages and then stuff they showed off worked.

Nick,

Thanks for info... Is this all they showed? Editor enhancements?

What about stuff like native/better support for OLE-DB/ADO/SML? What about a View Designer that works? Better native tools to support a physical n-Tier application? Granted, I know it is still early, and they may not have had alot to show you, but if all they are adding is Editor Enahncements...

Any idea when this would be out? I assume with Visual Studio 7.0? How hard will it be to move an app from 6.0 to 7.0? How about the ability to create subclasses of ALL classed in a VCX?
