Being from Detroit, Michigan I can usually tolerate the variations in temperature (tho you cna keep the -40 stuff!). It's the humidity here I can't take.

Assuming weather patterns haven't changed _drastically_ in 400 years, it's a wonder that the first European settlements were in this area. Don't know why they would have thought it better than anything in the Old World... And if the weather patterns *have* changed that much... well, frankly, I'm scared!
