We have a client who is using SBT version VP which still uses FPW2.6. They have a manufacturing system which has three memo fields attached to the DBF. The memo fields can get pretty large.

The Memo files are getting corrupted a lot. We know the network is very stable.

Question: SBT is getting ready to release a VFP6 version of this program. Would changing the fields to general fields and pointing to text documents make more sense?

Does anyone have any ideas why these fields are getting corrupted?
