My wife and I had problems going to and coming home from Devcon. First we got bumped off our flight from St. Louis to Ontario and one to LAX because of an earlier cancelled flight. So we had to run from one end of the airport to the other in 14 minutes to catch a flight to San Diego where we had to drive then to Ontario to pick up our luggage and then drive at times around 98mph to get to the registration in La Quinta on time. We left Ontario at 5:01pm after getting our luggage.

Flying home we ended up taking a scenic drive to the sky tram which was awesome in Palm Springs and then driving to LAX to catch a 12:30am flight which was oversold and we got bumped there too. So we sat in the terminal until a 6:20am flight which was oversold as well as was the 8:30am flight too. So we were told the rest of the day was overbooked and if we really wanted to get back to St. Louis we had better try another airline or take a shuttle over to John Wayne Airport to catch a 12:05pm flight. So we took a shuttle ASAP to John Wayne and finally made it on a plane. Then once we got on we had an 1hr 40min wait due to weather in St. Louis so we just sat on the runway for a while. We finally arrived in St. Louis about 7:30pm Friday night EXHAUSTED!!!!

What a trip!
