I was tired while working last night, so I unfortunatel do do recall all events.
But I am sure that I did not use any trim functions at any time, that I did not use the table designer at any time to change the structure,and I am not swift enough to use any commands to change structure , and the change to the main table occured before I re entered the info as a test to see what would happen.
I actually do no even recall using the table as it is the last place to store data.

It appears that I will have to remove the table, recreate the table, then re-enter all data so that I can reuse the same table name and not change all forms, etc.
