There is a PGP software development kit that allows you to seemlessly integrate PGP into any application ( from MVS, OS390....NT, UNIX, dos, linux... ). Armed with these tools it is very easy to create an app that sends secure files via standard FTP with FTP's benefits ( restart and quicker speed than an http download ). ( more secure than a browser as https has a 3rd party key allowing transmissions to be decrypted by that 3rd party AKA the government...PGP has no back doors, the main reason its creator was hounded to death by the US govt )
