The problem seems to be only with the first of three fields while in tdhe browse mode of the table. The table has 3 fields, first is a c(6), d(8), n(10,4)where when in the browse mode of the table only the first char of the field is displayed. All other fields are displayed properly.
If I add data to the table through a form, all data is accepted up to the 6 char, but only 1 char will be displayed while in the browse mode of the table. All views will display all data correctly.
There is a width clause in browse that allows the width displayed to be changed, but it appears to be applied to all fields in a record, unless it applies only to char fields which in my case would only affect the first field.
Thanks
