Letting off steam...
At noon, I had a user lock the two year old network application second level screen for everyone today. He had a printer error; somehow backed out of the application; leaving a CDX for the second level window table locked along with the FRX. All users were not able to pull up the second level window.

I got all users out - Still Locked according to VFP.
I could never get the attribute reset on the two locked files.
Recovery finally came after: storing the data, deleting the entire directory, rebuilding the project, restoring the data. This has not been a fun day - but the weekend is upon us and all is well!
