Then you can not say that there couldn't be too much quality, because it simply doesn't exist.
And there are enough examples of companies who did deliver quality and lost from companies who didn't:
- MS Windows 3.11 against OS 2 from IBM
- Allied Tanks against German Tanks IN WO II
