Nope, it *is* releasing... everything behaves as expected, the only way I can actually get to the subform is to move the main form half off the screen, so that I can see the subform. ...and of course, since I *know* it is there, the little devil, then I can go find it. Even when I click on the subform it doesn't "come out in front" it is always underneath the main form.

It is strange....I'm sure there is some really stupid combination of properties or something which causes this.
