>ARGGG! I've got a form. I've got a sub-form that asks for information to search a particular record that is then displayed in the main form after the sub form closes. The sub form is launched from a button on the main form. This button has click method that simply says DO frmSubForm.

Larry,
If I've got this right, the sub-form comes up, works OK, but then hides behind the main form instead of disappearing. In that case, it sounds like the form is not releasing. How are you releasing the sub-form? That is a likely place to start investigating.
