just went to try your suggestions and spotted a misunderstanding.

you're both dealing with form titlebars - my question relates to the system (or, more specifically, the application) titlebar: the one that says "Microsoft Visual Foxpro" unless you change it by including your own title in the config.fpw file. This is the bar I want to lose
