OK, I bit the bullet and:
1. Run uninstall
2. Cold booted
3. Reinstalled from CD
4. BOOM! "This program performed illegal operation" at startup, just after splash screen shows up.
I think my day's going to be worse than yesterday.
>Bite the bullet, run uninstall, reboot and reinstall. None of your projects will be affected, but you may have a bad file or a bad registry entry. Either way, you'll have to do a complete uninsall to clear the registry.

>>Talk about a bad day, suddenly my VFP5 is "performing illegal operation" at startup and won't run at all. It's been running fine for months. This is what I've tried so far:
>>1. Reboot 5 times.
>>2. Set RESOURCE off.
>>3. Deleted FOXUSER files.
>>4. Commented out everything in Config.fpw
>>
>>Every other program works fine including FPW2.6 and VFP6 which I also have installed on this computer. Sadly, most of my projects are in VFP5. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
It's "my" world. You're just living in it.
